Of course I love the whole stewardship angle at the end.
Being content that God is in control is a real challenge. We all are wired to be somewhat of control freaks. God has given each of us skills that we are to use here on Earth to do His will. The mistake comes when we don’t realize where those gifts come from.
I, too, came to Christ as an adult and now clearly see how my path was cleared by God even before I acknowledged him. Now I know the things I accomplish are because of Him. I still struggle with listening for Him in new ventures. I try to hear from Him, but am not always clear whether my thoughts are His or mine. I try to patient in these matters and wait for a clear message. I wish I weren’t so deaf.
