One of the big destressers in my life was to quit drinking caffeine. That was back in October 2006, and except for a few times in the last 22 months, I haven’t had it, and don’t miss it. Don’t miss the jittery feeling, feelings of anxiety, or elevated blood pressure.
I also walk away if things get too stressful. I find that if I can decompress for even a few minutes, what seemed overwhelming is usually much simpler by the time I get back.
Finally, I never eat lunch at my desk. I get away from the office, otherwise I’m just mired in what’s stressing me out in the first place, and I don’t get as much work done as if I leave and come back later.

I just finished listening to episode 22 and 23 at the prodding of Dr. Dave. I learned a lot, but most of all I enjoyed your program – relaxed, enjoyable, fun, your comfortable with each other. What a chemistry!
Do you know what you have? Get a sponsor and get on the air ways. You all remind me of Rick and Bubba from Birmingham. They have special guests Dr’s, writers, specialists, etc. They have to have a sense of humor and and be Christian. I like your low key Christian witness, but it could be stepped up a notch.
Just a thought – the background noise is a little distracting at times.
Good job I look forward to more.
