    I think we all live with our own little pockets of fear that we either deal with positivity or we do not. This of course assumes, (1) we know about the fear, and (2) know how to handle it in way that either allows us rule over it or we seek the help to face it.

    I deal with several types of fear: perfection, self-doubt, & being a leader to name a few. It all chalks up to being difficult to deal with some days & easy to ignore on other days. BTW: ignoring it usually doesn’t help.

    I think what has helped me the most is trying to share those fears with others that want to know me – close friends. It doesn’t take the fear away, but lends to accountability for myself to deal with and face the fear positively.

    Now, if I could only remember to follow the above statements better, I’d probably deal with the fear better. For what sounds good on paper can be a frightening in the real life. Thankfully, I’ve let God in on my fears too, and I’m always grateful for his helping hand.
